Smithers Airport (YYD) is 5km north of downtown.
Complimentary shuttle service is available for guests of Hudson Bay Lodge.
Air Canada and Hawk Air provide daily flights to and from Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Central Mountain Air flies to Terrace, Prince George, Kamloops and Kelowna.

BC Ferries and Alaska Ferries provide regular ferry service to Prince Rupert, BC.

Smithers is in the heart of British Columbia on the Yellowhead Trans Canada Highway / Route 16. Located between the two major centers in northern BC - 370 km (222 miles) west of Prince George and 350 km (218 miles) from the Pacific Port of Prince Rupert.
Smithers is easy to find from anywhere in BC, Alberta or the western US.

Smithers is on the “main line” of the Canadian National Railway between Jasper and Prince Prince Rupert.
Passenger service is provided by Via Rail – Westbound on Mondays and Thursdays, Eastbound on Wednesd ays and Sundays.
Smithers BC receives rail service several times a week from Prince George and Prince Rupert.
